The Odin edition tuck is a glorious wealth of embossed gold simulation to honor the king of the Aesir with an elegant and strategically embossed portrait on the center. The tuck has a glossy surface which will ensure that the might box will capture the attention of its audience. The front features authentic futhark runes from the viking age which say ASGARD on top and ODIN on the bottom. Not using a foil will ensure a much more detailed artwork that will shine bright in the light! The tuck back features Odin's powerful and magical spear, Gungnir, in the center of a glorious, shining and strategically embossed artwork, which take direct inspiration from real Norse treasure and jewelry found by Danish archeologists.  As a centerpiece of the Odin edition, Gungnir itself is featured in the deck along with a backstory of the mythological icon as seen here.  Odin edition courts are colored, one-way illustrations to form an art-rich deck of cards, worthy of the gods and goddesses. The courts feature iconic legends from the Norse pantheon of the realm of Asgard: Odin, Thor, Freya, Loki, Sif, Heimdalr, Frigg, Jord, Frey and many more. There are even character variations between the two editions, Odin & Thor, for a combined total of 16 deities from Asgard. All courts are beautifully, hand illustrated by the Design Imperator team, lead by Patrick Leis and based on the foundation of our popular Midgard Playing Cards. The Odin card backs represent the portal to Asgard below the Byfrost bridge and with a striking iconography of Gungnir glowing from the center of it all. The artwork is a borderless design printed in CMYK and with an opulent and glorious golden edge-gilding.
