The Cursed & The Crooked Kingdom Bakus And Garsia Playing Cards Set with Matching Numbers.

The city of Bakus, with its name originating from a village founded by master bakers, is a place where tiny legends master their crafts. The village of little, half-timbered houses quickly became popular and other masters settled in the village to expand on their various talents and to explore the mythical forests around it.

Each side of the tuck is a testament to the artsy villagers and their connection to the nature that plays a central role within their old, cursed and crooked kingdom.

This is not just a colorful illustration or just a holographic goldfoil applied to a black background in vectorised form. This is a fun and exciting mix of both!

The strategic embossing will bring even more life to the playful artwork of the magical tuck exterior, where the stories within are just waiting to unfold. Each side of the tuckboxes was a fun and creative process that took many days to design.

The Bakus aces feature 4 iconic houses, each representing a piece in the story that takes place within the tiny kingdom. Reading the text on this project will already reveal some of their backstories, but even more ย awaits you in the companion booklet(s) for the series.

The Bakus card backs have a colorful 1-way illustration, where the artwork itself is a visual testament to the slow merge of the two villages, Bakus and Garsia, that made it the little kingdom it is today.

The merge is celebrated every year when the leaves have turned crispy and colorful, with apple pies and almond tea. The villagers from Garsia are greeted with a ย โ€˜Welcome to Bakusโ€™.ย

The critters of Bakus and Garsia have a life of their own. They are not simple bystanders, but sometimes venture out of town to explore the landscape and start little quests of their own.

Especially since the Baron went missing, the animals have become increasingly more adventurous and lively. They even play central roles in some the stories you hear in the villages.
